The Basement is set in a small shopping area called ‘the drang’ off the quay in Padstow. It boasts stunning views across the quay from its outside covered and heated alfresco area and has very comfortable and cosy inside area for those not so nice days. It is the perfect place to eat drink socialize and people watch at all hours of the day.
Owned by Dave Flide, a once employee or the fabled 'MR S', it has grown year on year and is now very firmly holding its own as a 'must visit' in the competitive streets of Padstow. Whether it be for an award winning coffee by Musetti Cafe Italia,fresh bowl of Camel Estuary mussels or the relaxed dining experience the evening menu brings one thing is for sure you will be looked after by Dave and our team.
